Heyo! Idk if this will help at all, maybe you already found out. But I noticed you we're a bit confused with some of their names and I'm assuming it's Sieun and Seeun. Sieun being the girl with ginger hair, her name is pronounced like She-oon. Where as Seeun, the girl with the cowboy hat on, her name is pronounced like Say-oon

They performed on Mcountdown the day before in order to be eligible for a win next week. Cause of the olympics, most of the music shows are not airing. And also just to able to perform on a music show at all.

Well, well, well. Hi there! Dreamcatcher are outdoing themselves here once again. Musically, the song is a fantastic journey. There actually are "cute" parts, but there also are parts where the guitars go full metal. The variations in BEcause remind me of their previous masterpiece, Deja Vu. The bridge with SuA's slow rap and Yoohyeon's adlibs is possibly the most beautiful one they have ever done. About the meaning: According to Dami, BEcause is about love becoming obsession. And also, this is a stand-alone story. They go back to their horror roots, which I really enjoy. One commenter noted that if you look at "BE" as a Korean written character "悲“, that would mean "sadness". So the song title would mean "The Cause of Sadness". And that would make the lyric "because I like you" to maybe mean "the cause of sadness is I like you". That commenter is Jad Hamizan and he deserves all the credit for noticing that. The video picks up on that. JiU seems to be the puppet master here. She is the one trapping the other members and turning them into puppets, but Gahyeon tries to escape (as you can see by her throwing off the cage right in the beginning). It seems JiU catches her again though, "because she likes her". The lyrics are even creepier. SuA sings: "You turn blue, blue. Your face is like ocean view.", hinting at strangulation due to the one being obsessed taking things way, way too far. If you want to find a connection to the Dystopia trilogy, you could say that this might be a criticism of overly obsessive fans, who turn to malicious comments and other bad things, but I am not sure about that. In any case, Dreamcatcher are clearly not afraid to tackle the difficult subjects, and they do it masterfully here - again. For me, this is more than just pop, it is art.

i think they did say this choreo is simpler/easier, but it's still so amazing.. and all the references to "us" that hwang sooyeon incorporated. it really does feel like such a summer horror comeback in every aspect tbh
